A painting for an old friend...

After 20 0dd years of not in contact (last was 1987 in fact) an old friend managed to get hold of me (thanks to the close knit Samura). Naturally we filled each other in on what has happened for the past years when the subject of paintings cropped up. He was surprised that I paint! To make the story short, he told me he just bought an old 1970 Honda and would love it to be painted on a canvas. So here it is. This is my artistic impression of the old motorbike. I hope he likes it! :)

My paintings my pride and joy...

Though my paintings could be perceived amateurish to the pros, I still take pride in hanging them at various places in my house. Paintings "My S(e)oul Inspiritations I & II" seen here on the wall of my living room.

The best part about being able to paint is, I can afford to change the paintings whenever the room needs a facelift! Voila...a new look, a new feel! :D
