Lotus Pond

Acrylic ink on canvas.

Weekend is always high risk days for me. The tendency for me to just get ready, start the car and drive to the nearest mall is very high. Shopping is my fave past time next to painting. So, today, before I have the itch to spend money unnecessarily, I quickly donned my painting uniform (shorts & tee) and started working on a canvas. The result - Lotus Pond! I just love ink. Tricky but fun. Well...who knows, instead of spending money, I will make money out of this...hehe.

haha cute but I'd rather keep it for myself. Besides, few people already pm me to enquire whether I'm selling or not.

let me translate that "offer me more moolah then we'll talk" isn't that just about right?

but of course. would you sell something that you have taken three whole days to finish, a big canvas at that at rm50? It hardly covers the materials anyway. Besides, as I said, i'd rather keep something that i like than sell it. I have 3 paintings that have been offered 4 digits but i declined. if i'm selling, it's at a reasonable price for both parties. If you appreciate it, you will pay. If not, no loss to me. In fact I have given away more than 10 paintings just like that. If the recepient is worth it though. Have a nice day :)
